Do you love lunges like I love lunges?
The reverse lunge may be my favorite leg exercise. They make me feel strong. They feel good for my body. They are effective!
In this video, I demo a reverse lunge with a glider (you can use a towel or paper plate).
It forces you to use your back leg a little bit and get a “push-pull” action between your right and left leg.
As you “glide,” push into the floor to slide that foot back or to bring it forward.
You’ll still want the majority of the work to come from your front leg as you “pull” through the base of the foot, never letting the front heel come off the ground.
