Have this quick and easy meal to prevent overeating

What happens when you go for hours without eating?

You know it…..you start eating everything in sight and then your meal.

Before long, you feel the effects of overeating and of course, overeating the wrong stuff for your body – like being bloated, sluggish or just plain stuffed.

My go to snack or meal is a protein shake with added fruit and/or fat and greens (depends on the time of day).

A perfect example was the other day when I had lunch around noon and at about 3:00 I was leaving and wouldn’t be back until 5,6 or maybe even 7p.m. – I wasn’t sure.

I wasn’t hungry, but I also knew that if I didn’t eat something at 3:300, that by the time 5, 6 or 7 o’clock rolled around, I would eat anything in sight…and you know, sometimes you get so involved in something that you don’t feel hungry, yet you eat the refrigerator bare.

In order to prevent over eating, eating the wrong foods and being a moody person, I simply made a shake.

My mid-afternoon snack was:

  • 1 1/2 cups almond or cashew milk
  • 1 serving protein powder (I like and sell My Custom Cleanse)
  • 1 cup strawberries

Optional: greens and a serving of fat like one tablespoon of almond butter or coconut oil

Try this easy snack mid morning or mid afternoon and see how you feel for your next meal!

You’ll cut back on cravings, feel satisfied and not starving and you will be less likely to overeat!
