This is a favorite at Her Fitness and I've been using this recipe for years…
You can use a clean oil instead of the highly-processed and very unhealthy canola, vegetable, or soy oils that you find in store-bought dressings.
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red or white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Add all ingredients to a jar, place the lid on the jar, and give it a good shake!
Just like with all vinegar-based dressing, you’ll need to shake it up again before pouring to eliminate separation.
