You probably use the grill all year round, but Memorial Day is when the grill really starts becoming part of everyday life, especially for those of us who don’t like to cook!
The grill is easier, no doubt about it!

Here’s a sample:
Grilled Teriyaki Scallops & Pineapples
- 12 large sea scallops, washed and dried
- 12 chunks fresh pineapple
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
Toss scallops, pineapple, and teriyaki sauce together in a bowl, and marinate for 30 to 60 minutes.
When ready to cook, drain skewers. Heat the grill to medium. Place 2 pineapple chunks and 2 scallops on each skewer. Grill, turning as needed, for 6 to 8 minutes or until scallops are just cooked through.
