Let’s talk about strength training!

Are you afraid you’re going to bulk up, ladies?

 

It’s not gonna happen!

 

This won’t happen to you!

 

What WILL happen is that you will build some muscle that will boost your metabolism and allow your body to burn more calories at rest.

 

Have you ever noticed that when you are lifting and strength training regularly that you can get away with a few more “cheats” than when you haven’t been lifting weights?

 

That takes “being in the game” long enough to know and long enough to have some periods of your life when you’ve been off the lifting program for a little bit ;)

 

Do you know what else strength training and building muscle does? It makes you leaner because muscle takes up less space than fat.

 

Muscle is heavier than fat, but takes up less room! That’s great news!! You can stop living and dying by the scale!

 

The next time you are ready to lift, try picking up some heavier dumbbells or kettlebells. As long as your form is good…you ARE good!

 

Your shape, hormones, metabolism and confidence will love you for it!
