Before January hits, do this one thing.

Before you rush into setting bold goals for the New Year, take a quiet moment today and ask yourself a simple, powerful question:

“What actually worked well for me this year?”

Most people skip this step. They focus entirely on what went wrong—what they missed, where they slipped, what they should’ve done better.

While it’s good to know those things, what I think will really help you move forward in 2026 is doubling down on the things you did right.

Maybe you stayed consistent with your workouts.

Maybe you built better eating habits.

Maybe you learned how to structure your days differently.

Maybe you improved your sleep.

Or maybe you started believing in yourself a little more.

Identify the habits that helped you feel better, stronger, or more capable this year, and they don’t have to be colossal!

Look at the “small” things because just like you can’t climb a mountain in a giant leap, you can’t change all of your habits overnight.

Reward yourself for those habits, remind yourself of them (write them down where you can periodically review them) and take those with you into January 2026!

You don’t need a brand-new life next year.

You just need to reinforce the parts that already work.
