Small steps to BIG success!

Some people can go all in…change everything all at once and see big results. I’ve seen this happen with clients, unfortunately, I’ve all seen everything backslide and they are back where they started as soon as life stresses “get in the way.”

Instead of going gang busters and doing all the things, let’s talk about the power of little things. You know…..those small actions that we often overlook but actually make a huge difference in the long run.

It’s small, consistent actions – even when they’re not perfect – that lead to the biggest and most sustainable success.

Sure, it takes longer which can be frustrating since our ability to focus has been reduced to about three seconds, but you know it works better.

Also, we’ve been conditioned to celebrate only the BIG wins, significant weight loss or completing a marathon.

Don’t get me wrong, those are amazing achievements and deserve recognition, but today, I want to shine a light on all the little things that go into reaching those big goals.

Perhaps giving up Diet Coke/Coke is the only thing you changed so far or maybe you’ve gotten back into the habit of meal prepping for the week. Maybe you’ve been working on improving your shoulder mobility or you’ve been spending time after dinner stretching or meditating every evening.

Are these small things? No! They’re actually big pieces of a bigger puzzle.

As you’re working towards your bigger goals, don’t lose sight of these smaller actions and accomplishments along the way. They all add up, creating a foundation for those headline-worthy achievements.

Remember, it’s the little things, done consistently, that often make the biggest difference. So next time you make a small improvement or stick to a healthy habit, take a moment to acknowledge it. You’re building something great, one small step at a time.

Keep up the great work, and remember to celebrate those little victories!
