Banana Blast Smoothie Recipe

1 large banana
1/2 tsp nutmeg
8 ounces brewed, chilled herbal tea
1 scoop plain egg white protein powder
1 Tbsp almond or walnut butter
1/2 cup crushed ice

Puree all ingredients in a blender on high speed for 2 minutes.

No fruit juice, yogurt or milk in this recipe! Many recipes that call for these ingredients are high is sugar and not suitable for those of you who are lactose intolerant (Paleo Diet= no dairy).
