Who is Your Invisible Friend?
Think of someone you admire or is at or just above your own fitness level when you are exercising and “compete” against that person. You already know that for maximum fat burning, your workouts have to be challenging (I’m not speaking of active rest days), but sometimes that can be difficult when you are working out on your own.I used this technique this morning. Part of my workout involved 1/4 mile repeats so there I was running my fastest with my invisable competition, cheering me on the whole way! It really works!
