That, in addition to becoming healthy and losing weight, is the top request of women who first seek out Her Fitness.
Every woman wants a stronger core.
Have you ever thought about why you feel that way?
It’s because you intuitively know that when your core is stronger your ENTIRE BODY is stronger, plus we equate strong core with flat abs.
Your intuition is right!
When your mid-section is strong and firm, you can lift heavier things, play “harder” with your kids or in a sport, physically take care of your loved oneseasier if that is necessary, even sex is easier/better/more fun when your core is strong and stable.
BUT….it’s not just planks and sit-ups that build strength!
No, planks alone won’t get the job done.
As a woman past the age of 20, especially if you currently not athletic, you have to learn to FIRE UP your deep, soft core muscles BEFORE anything else in your body moves.
At Her Fitness we are constantly working on our core strength, stability and activation and it feels Awesome when you see that work pay off!
Here’s an exercise you can try at home: The Core Engaged Dead Bug. Try it 8x each leg and do it twice a day.
